On February 25-26, 2025, Pac Miu Town Party Committee held the 5th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. This is the Party Committee selected by Bao Lam District Party Committee to organize the grassroots Congress, term 2025 - 2030. Attending the Congress were comrade Doan Trong Hung - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Bao Lam District Party Committee; comrade Nong Van Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee; comrade Ma Gia Hanh - Deputy Secretary of District Party Committee, Chairman of District People's Committee; leaders of Party Building Committees of District Party Committee; Party Secretaries of communes in the district and 105 delegates representing 322 party members in the entire Party Committee.
In the past term, Pac Miu Town Party Committee has been united, proactive, creative in leading, directing and synchronously implementing solutions for socio-economic development. Thereby, agriculture - services - trade, infrastructure develop rapidly and synchronously. The average annual food output reaches 1,320 tons; the total budget revenue for 5 years reaches 20 billion 185 million VND, increasing by an average of 15% each year; the average income per capita in 2024 is 55.8 million VND/person/year, an increase of more than 30 million VND compared to the beginning of the term, exceeding the plan set forth in the Resolution. Up to now, there are 56 small-scale handicraft production establishments in the town, creating jobs for over 200 workers. In the cultural - social field, the rate of people issued health insurance cards reaches 100%. The rate of poor households has decreased to only 24% and near-poor households to 20%, exceeding the target set by the Congress. The rate of cultural households and cultural neighborhoods is maintained at a high level. Party building work also achieved many positive results. During the term, the Party Committee admitted 58 new Party members, reaching 122% of the resolution's target. Every year, over 90% of grassroots Party organizations complete their tasks well or better, with no weak Party organizations.
The 5th Congress of Delegates of Pac Miau Town Party Committee, Bao Lam District, term 2025 - 2030 elected a new Executive Committee of 15 members. At the 1st Executive Committee meeting, Comrade Ban Thanh Tung - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025 was elected to continue holding the position of Secretary of the Town Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030. The Congress also elected a delegation of 13 delegates to attend the 6th Congress of Bao Lam District Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Entering the new term, the Pac Mieu Town Party Committee has determined the motto of action as: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development" with the general goal of continuing to innovate leadership methods, effectively implementing the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects; promoting the strength of culture, people and the great national unity bloc in the area; promoting the tradition of solidarity, mobilizing all resources, and creatively rising up. The Congress also approved a number of targets such as striving to achieve an average income per capita of 58 million VND/person/year or more by 2030; Total budget revenue of 2.7 billion VND/year; Maintaining an average annual food output of 1,350 tons; Maintaining a herd of over 37,000 livestock and poultry; Annually renovating and repairing 10km of inter-village and inter-hamlet roads; 100% of households in the area have clean water; Strive to recruit 40-50 new party members...
Speaking at the Congress, the Secretary of the Bao Lam District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025 of the Party Committee, Government and People of the town; the work of organizing the Congress. At the same time, he requested that in the term 2025 - 2030, the Party Executive Committee and Pac Miau Town Party Committee focus on leading and directing the implementation of key tasks; shifting the economic structure reasonably, balanced and harmoniously towards the development of trade, services and small-scale industry. Promoting urban beautification, continuing to mobilize land clearance work, implementing key construction projects. Focusing on perfecting organizations in the political system from the town to the clean and strong neighborhoods.
